The aim of the Archive is to preserve the rich heritage of the UKs involvement in worldwide motor racing.

The Archive covers all aspects of motor racing on circuits past and present and we are continually seeking more material to help in building the history of the UK's achievements, both in racing and manufacturing terms.

Mario Andretti
For the 1971 season Ferrari had an all star line up with three talented drivers in Jacky Ickx Clay Regazzoni and new boy Mario Andretti. To the delight of the Ferrari team Andretti went on to win the opening round in South Africa.
